This shot was taken on the corner of Revaler Strasse and Warschauer Strasse in Friedrichshain, Berlin. It's an interesting part of Berlin, full of young people, art, creativity, rebellion, bars, clubs, music, poetry... I aimed to capture that by photographing the street signs at the corner of two of the streets which are central to the life of the area. Obviously the faces are very striking but I also like the overall composition and the detail of the sticker on the bottom of the sign. I gave the shot a green tint, simply for aesthetic effect. The image looks particularly good when it is enlarged on a canvas or poster.
