Welcome to the urban snapshot page. All the pictures added to this page will have been taken with camera phones rather than with SLRs or point and shoot type cameras. Although I'm sure we all love our SLRs and 'real' cameras because of thier superior photographic ability, I find that due to size and inconvinience I just don't have mine with me every moment of every day. Nowadays few of us are without our pocket sized camera phones and as they go everywhere with us and most have cameras there is no excuse not to get those 'of the moment' snapshots.

I have also noticed that my style or should I say subject matter changes when I use my camera phone. It gives me another level of photography I formally just did not see. Its small size gives me the freedom to take quick shots as I walk along, I think it also makes me a little braver as I don't feel as if I will be challenged as much as I would with my full size camera. (Coward, me? yeah afraid so)

All of my images on this page are snaps of daily life near and around where I live, predominately London England. I have not cropped the images in any way or done anything with them, they are just as they came out the phone and as i saw the image on the day.
